Terms of Use

These conditions govern every visit, search, and use of Klamath County Criminal History. Using the resource signifies agreement. Anyone who does not accept the terms should stop using it.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no government affiliation. Neither it nor its advertising partners provide services for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other FCRA-regulated decisions. It is a Klamath County, Oregon records reference, not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This private reference site is independent of all government offices. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, files documents, or performs authorized checks.

It directs readers to Klamath County's sheriff, Oregon Circuit Court, Oregon State Police CJIS, the Oregon Sex Offender Online Search, and outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the site is conditioned on avoiding all of the following:

  • Using bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools
  • Threatening, stalking, or harassing a person with information found here
  • Interfering with performance or another visitor's access
  • Attempting unauthorized entry into any system
  • Using content for hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decisions
  • Violating federal, Oregon, or local law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool may not be used to stalk, threaten, harass, intimidate, or discriminate. Oregon law, including ORS 163A.215, places particular limits on misuse of Oregon Sex Offender Online Search information. Registry data supports public safety awareness, never vigilante action or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not an FCRA consumer reporting agency and produce no consumer, credit, or background report. Advertising partners likewise do not offer regulated screening services through this site. Data from here or a linked tool may not be used to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

Any check for a regulated purpose must come through Oregon State Police CJIS or an FCRA-compliant screening company.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing here is legal advice. General Klamath County record information cannot determine how a charge, warrant, conviction, or Oregon set-aside law affects a particular person. Consult an Oregon-licensed attorney.

6. No Warranties

All material is supplied "as is," without a promise that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Charges, dispositions, restrictions, and set-aside orders can change a record. Gaps are unavoidable, and no content here is an official statement by a sheriff, court, or state agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

External links may lead to government offices, courts, legal resources, or search providers. We do not control a destination's content, data handling, charges, or availability. Review its terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Klamath County Criminal History or its content partners. Written permission is required to copy, distribute, modify, or build on that material.

Revised terms may be posted at any time and become effective when published here.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or terminated without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue. The affected language will be narrowed only as needed.
